The official announcement has been made. That's right. Knott's Berry Farm will be hosting the 1st ever Knott's Berry Farm Studio K Cloud 9 Reunion Party. Although the exact date of the event has not yet been released, we can tell you that it is going to be held in 2011, the 20th year reunion from when both Studio K and Could 9 were closed down. The Cloud 9 event will be held in the original Cloud 9 Ballroom while the Studio K event will be held in the Fiesta Village area right next to where the original Studio K dance area was located prior to Knott's Berry Farm building the roller coaster, Jaguar.
The nights events will host the original music played in both clubs. Studio K will be playing the top 40 dance music from the 80's and Cloud 9 will be playing alternative 80's dance music such as The Cure, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Flock of Seagulls, Oingo Boingo, and the like.
So if you grew up going to Studio K and Cloud 9 get you baggy pants on, your creepers, buy some Aqua Net hair spray and head over to Knott's Berry Farm for the event of the year in 2011.
